Spirit Ocean Adventure Update - Day 11

15 July 2010:
Today is Miss Haley's birthday, so we got to have red velvet cupcakes. Everyone spent the day getting readjusted to the four hour watch schedule. Miss. Beth is organizing more games for us to play: Elimination and Secret Shipmate. With Secret Shipmate, we are being paired up and will give each other happy notes and little presents. In Elimination, each person will receive a target that they must get to say a specific phrase in a designated spot on the boat before getting eliminated.

Our watch, A Watch, got to go on the headrig for the first time today. This was a huge accomplishment for us as we had to earn the privilege through a series of knowledge-based check-offs during watch. We got to watch the sunset from the headrig, it was a beautiful reddish, pink color.

We are headed for Cape Cod. Captain Jason says he expects us to arrive in 2-3 days. Catch you later!
