The South Carolina Maritime Foundation designed the Boat Donation Program to help underwrite our educational programs aboard the Spirit of South Carolina tall ship.  The program has been very successful since its inception, and we hope to continue our reputation for conducting quality donation services. 

SCMF is recognized by the IRS as a 501c(3) non-profit organization, and donations are deductible.  SCMF staff will evaluate each boat's utility to SCMF's marine and educational programs for youth, and may also sell donated vessels to raise funds for our marine and educational programs.
